Crisis

Your family's journey out of crisis begins here.  First, we are sorry for what you are going through.  Second, realize you are not alone.  We care.  We want to know your story and how your family got here.  To the best of our ability, we want to understand your pain and what you fear losing the most. Third, whether you are a person of faith or not, take comfort in the reality that God is near the broken hearted and saves those crushed in spirit.  Fourth, please know that although you are in crisis, you and your loved ones will be treated with respect, dignity, and in a timely manner.  You are not here for us.....no, we are here for you!  Finally, although taking next steps requires filling out intake forms and scheduling your assessment, our desire isn't to burden you with several hours of paper work; then it taking two weeks before you can meet with us.  You are dealing with people who know crisis firsthand; we have experienced the gaps and deficiencies.  This is why we have structured our organization and tailored our processes so that we can serve you and your loved ones efficiently and most effectively.  Your next steps for moving away from crisis are clearly outlined below.  We look forward to meeting you soon!

Your Family's Assessment

Misdiagnosis is the last thing we want for your family because it leads to the wrong course of treatment.   Sadly, within the counseling and behavioral health landscape, misdiagnosis occurs all too often.  Largely, this occurs because it's easier for counselors and therapists to treat patterns and profile types versus the person who is hurting and their family.  And once you've worked with thousands of clients for years, we all have to be careful not to become jaded pretending we can predict a person's choices even before they make them.  This is why your assessment is critical.  A comprehensive assessment ensures that we're seeing not only the symptoms of the core problem, but that we identify the primary root causes.
