Our Focus

Our Why:
We believe families reconcile and communities flourish when faith communities become centers of grace and healing.
Mission:
Partner with faith communities to rescue, renew, reconcile, and restore men and women from self-destructive and self-righteous lifestyles by helping them pursue more in Christ.

Vision:
Thousands of faith communities are grace centers--embodying Isaiah 61:1-7--where Christians with self-destructive lifestyles or self-righteous lifestyles become whole and are fulfilling the Cultural Mandate and the Great Commission.
Belief and Value Statements:
The nature of all sin, and the reason for humanity's brokenness, is disordered worship (Genesis 3:1-24; Exodus 20:1-7; Jeremiah 2:1-37; Ezekiel 14:1-8; Acts 7:39-53). Disordered worship is man believing that he can experience happiness and fulfillment apart from God. This false pursuit of self reliance and self actualization is the driving force of a Christian's battle with the world, the flesh, and the devil (Genesis 3:1-24; Exodus 32:1-9; Jeremiah 2:1-37; Hebrews 3:19; 1 John 2:15-17).    satan's greatest tool for trapping man in a cycle of disordered worship is shaping our view of God, ourselves, and others through guilt, shame, and fear with the anticipation that we will harden our hearts and live with something to fear, hide, or prove (Luke 19:20-24; 2 Corinthians 7:10; 11:3; 2 Timothy 1:7; 1 John 4:18; Revelation 12:10).   People change, thrive, and persevere in thriving when they are secure in knowing how much they are loved and valued by their Heavenly Father (John 13:3-5; Romans 2:4; 1 Peter 1:3-9). Prodigal sons and daughters are in a better place than self-righteous sons and daughters because most of them have already come to realize that self actualization and experiencing happiness and fulfillment apart from God is satan's lie (Luke 15:11-31; 18:9-14). God’s grace is the great motivator (Titus 2:11-12). Mercy triumphs over judgement (James 2:13). Forgiving others is fundamental to a believer’s union in Christ (Mathew 6:14; Mathew 18:15-35; Luke 19:3).  Reconciliation is foundational to the Great Commission (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).  Marriage is sacred and worth preserving (Mathew 19:6; Mark 10:9). Strong families are foundational for church revitalization and cultural renewal (Ephesians 5:21-6:9; Colossians 3:18-4:1; 1 Peter 2:16-3:11).  Sensual and immoral behavior are not more sinful than self-righteous and unloving behavior (Mathew 5:1-6:4; Romans 14:23; 1 Corinthians 13:1-4; Galatians 5:19-20;  James 2:10; 1 John 3:17). Tough love means I’m with you while holding you accountable (Romans 15:1-4; Galatians 6:1-6; Ephesians 4:1-2; Colossians 3:12-14).

We come along side the hurting and vulnerable, especially those trapped in the vicious cycle of addiction and self-destructive behaviors, and connect them to all the resources needed for their rescue, renewal, reconciliation, and restoration. This phenomenal process empowers us to reach the other hurting audience: the self-righteous, performance driven Christian who still believes that pursuing self-actualization without Christ at the center will make them happy and fulfilled.  Those who've experienced significant loss--the hurting, vulnerable, and those struggling with self-destructive behaviors--already know (or at least suspicion) that pursuing self actualization--without Christ at the center--is futile and unobtainable.  Connecting these two groups (the hurting & jaded with the driven & vapid) is transformative and brings about church revitalization and cultural renewal.
Brokenness touches every part of a person ranging from genetics and being nurtured by broken parents to then impacting cognitive function and mental health, emotional intelligence and social development, adaptation and learned behaviors, and life skills. All of these factors give each person a composite of internal and external resources and influence how they view themselves, respond to conflict (fight or flight), handle loss, deal with anger, respond to medications, use substances, develop habits, and interface with others.
The genius of recovery is redemptive community. Â We focus on reforming redemptive community within local faith communities for the intended purpose of cultural renewal. Â Cultural renewal fulfills both the Cultural Mandate--whereby mankind reigns within creation by propagating the imago Dei throughout all of creation--and the Great Commission whereby mankind helps to rescue, renew, reconcile and restore all of creation based on the power of The Holy Spirit and the authority of Christ to make disciples of all men. Â Isaiah 61:1-7 becomes more and more palpable and visible through cultural renewal.
As ministers of reconciliation, we provide comprehensive soul care and life-on-life support to those who want change by consistently bringing them into redemptive environments and helping them rightly apply God's Word to their lives and specific situations.
