Assessment
You are dealing with a complicated, painful situation; any decision you make will involve initial loss. We are here to enter your world, understand your story, and bring solutions. Assessments are 60-90 minutes in length with the following goals: 1) Listen well to understand the nature, scope, and urgency of your situation or crisis. 2) Discover the internal and external resources of the person making self-destructive choices and their motivation. 3) Determine clear goals and next steps.

Local Church Engagement & Renewal
Shawn Saunders began pastoral ministry at the tender age of 16. He earned a bachelor's of ministry from Hyles-Anderson College, IN, two Master of Arts, Church Ministry and Biblical Literature, from Shepherds Theological Seminary, NC, became a certified Biblical Counselor in 2008 through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, has preached in scores of churches throughout NC and VA, and recently authored, The Pursuit of More: How Addiction to Christ Makes Us Fully Human.

Shawn Saunders has been in nonprofit leadership since 2008. He served as Director of Stewardship for Durham Rescue Mission, 2008-2010, CEO of Converting Hearts Ministries 2010-2014, and Group Vice President/Partner DickersonBakker 2014-present. He specializes in major gifts, growth capital initiatives, strategic planning, program planning and evaluation, and talent management. He is a 2019 graduate of Duke University's Nonprofit Management Program and has helped nonprofits raise over $50M
